   I bought this to replace the broken starter sterling silver chain that came with my pendant. I shopped around on Amazon to find a replacement silver chain. But when I mentioned to a jeweler that I wanted an everyday chain necklace, he explained the weak nature of sterling silver compared to the strength of white gold for daily wear. This particular white gold necklace delicately supports my pendant. If you don’t plan on taking your necklace off, this is the quality of chain you need. This is also the least expensive I’ve found for the quality. I love it. And I won’t be taking it off. It is a slim chain made to show off a pendant. I am 5 feet four inches female of medium build and this allows the pendant to sit about four inches below my collarbone.Pretty sturdy chain, great for everyday wear and tear
