   I often have trouble imagine how big something will be in person. Even when I read the measurements and look at a ruler, I still have trouble imagining the item in context–in the case of earrings, how big they’ll be on my earlobes. At 2.5 millimeters, these earrings are a tenth of an inch… in other words, really, really small! So I was afraid they would either look ridiculous or be completely unnoticeable. However, I’d been wanting a pair of unpretentious but sparkly earrings, so when the price dropped to more than 90% off, I bought them. I’m so glad I did! They look nicer than they really are because the carved spokes of the setting reflect light and camouflage how tiny the diamond is.

   They’re also light weight and comfortable. My ears are very sensitive; many of my earrings hurt my ears after a few hours… I can wear these all day, and sometimes I forget I have them on. And because they’re so cheap, I won’t be devastated if I lose one–though I’m going to try not to because I like them so much!

   If you have realistic expectations about what you’re getting (and you can grab a pair when the price is low), I imagine you’ll be happy with these earrings. And I bet they’d really impress a little girl or preteen, if you’re looking for a present.
